Introduction:

I redesigned the VBB app, a public transportation facilitator in Berlin and Brandenburg. Focusing on improving user experience, my goal was to address a significant pain point related to route visualization.

User Pain Points:

Loss of Trajectory Information:
Users express dissatisfaction as the trajectory information is lost after purchasing a train ticket. This requires them to search again to understand the path and changes associated with the recently bought ticket.

‍‍Language Inconsistency Confusion:
Some users are perplexed by the inconsistency in languages. Despite setting the application language to English, the results for different tickets appear in German, creating confusion and complicating user interaction.

Unclear Purchasing Process:
Certain users find the purchasing process challenging, experiencing uncertainty about whether certain elements are buttons or not. This ambiguity adds complexity to the user's understanding of the process.
